Dont Look Up 

Don't Look Up is a video peice made by sequentially taping onto VHS the episode "Trouble 
in Paradise" from Robert Hughes' 1980 documentary "The shock of the New", on top of the third in the 1980's American 
horror movie series Poltergeist, 94 times. In "Trouble in Paradise" Hughes traces the rise and fall of Modernist 
architecture as a style, and also as an ideology of social transformation through the arts. Poltergeist 3 was the last 
in a series of horror movies about the Haunting of a young girl named Carol anne by "Kane", the ghost of the leader of 
a christian Utopian cult from the 19'th century. A result of Carol Annes father building a suburb ontop of the 
graveyard of the cult. The third movie is set in an unnamed Chicago skyscraper where Carol Anne is sent to get away 
from Kane.
